Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both animals and people. This hybrid role combines client service and patient care, offering variety, responsibility, and meaningful impact each day.

Key Responsibilities

Reception Duties

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage email communications
  • Maintain accurate medical records and client information
  • Process payments and invoices
  • Communicate clearly, calmly, and compassionately with clients

Veterinary Assistant Duties

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and procedures
  • Safely restrain animals for treatments and diagnostics
  • Clean and prepare examination rooms and surgical areas
  • Administer medications and provide post-operative care under supervision
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and support their comfort and well-being

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Genuine passion for animal care and welfare
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
