Job Description

TPD Architecture and Design

TPD Architecture and Design combines professional excellence with a collaborative culture. We value technical expertise alongside creative thinking and entrepreneurial initiative. Our commitment to meaningful work drives our dedication to creating homes that truly serve our clients’ needs—beautiful spaces that work brilliantly for how people actually live. We maintain high standards while fostering an environment where both rigorous work and thoughtful innovation are appreciated.

The Position

As a TPD Interior Designer, you’ll work on multiple residential renovation and new construction projects, providing creative vision for kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home interiors. Working directly with the principal and project team, you will be part of the client-focused design process, while developing lasting client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals. This role emphasizes thoughtful design that serves clients beautifully now and for years to come, including invisible integration of accessible design features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide interior design services for multiple residential renovation, new construction and interior projects, with focus on kitchen and bath design
  • Develop and maintain client relationships that result in repeat projects and referrals
  • Specify finishes, fixtures, and materials for high-end residential projects
  • Collaborate with architects and project team on high quality design documentation and construction administration
  • Integrate universal design principles with luxury residential aesthetics
  • Support clients through decision-making with professionalism and warmth
  • Produce documentation (Revit preferred) that facilitates smooth construction processes
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through completion

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
  • 5+ years interior design experience (residential or commercial background)
  • Strong knowledge of finishes, fixtures, and materials for high-end residential projects
  • Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team
  • Portfolio demonstrating design sensibility and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with trade sources for residential furniture and fabrics
  • Curiosity and a healthy sense of humor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Revit (we can train the right person)
  • Residential kitchen and bath design experience
  • Experience in designing for accessibility
  • CAPS certification or interest in aging-in-place design

Our Offer

  • A collaborative professional environment that values your expertise and contributions
  • Project work that has a meaningful impact on how our clients live in their homes
  • Opportunity to build your practice and develop client relationships within an established firm
  • Professional development opportunities, including lunch and learns, conferences, and support for involvement in professional organizations
  • A positive workplace culture that balances professionalism with collegiality
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including flexible work arrangements, 401k plan, generous PTO and holidays, short-term disability, and life insurance

At the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually and is eligible for a performance-based bonus each year. Ultimately, salary may be more or less than the anticipated range.

Timeline

Start date: Summer 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)

If you’re prepared to apply your professional skills to help families live longer in homes they love while contributing to a team that values excellence, innovation, and meaningful work, we welcome your application.

If you are interested in the position, please email your resume and portfolio to ***email_hidden***. We look forward to hearing from you.
