ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Contracting/Onboarding team at FIG consists of our resident experts surrounding how financial professionals work and are setup with FIG. They are responsible for the onboarding and account structure within the walls of FIG and with our insurance carrier partners. They have a deep understanding of the business rules associated per insurance carrier, as well as being the go-to for any questions both internally and externally for how those setups affect working relationships. The Contracting/Onboarding team consists of financially-minded, operationally-focused individuals who aren’t afraid to dig into the details, as well as bring innovative ideas to the table. At the end of the day, we serve our Financial Professionals, and our Contracting and Licensing Specialists are there to tailor the FIG experience to each and every firm and professional we work with.

YOUR ROLE:

• Work closely with Leadership and Sales to build a tailored agreement between FIG and a new firm

• Be the go-to for financial and setup questions from both the financial professional and internal departments at FIG

• Play an active role in the onboarding experience of new financial professionals and firms to FIG

• Process advisor contracts for all lines of business- Annuity, Life, and LTC. Thoroughly review contracts for accuracy and completion

• Enter, update, and maintain all necessary data in the FIG CRM system, which includes electronic document processing

• Work with financial professionals directly, our insurance carrier partners, internal FIG Sales and Operations teams to satisfy missing requirements for completed contracts

• Schedule and perform follow up calls to insurance carriers to gain timely appointment approvals for all financial professionals.

• Regularly correspond with insurance carriers to ensure all licensing forms are up to date and accessible to FIG internal staff.

• Send address changes, renewed licenses/E&O policies, training certificates, and EFT updates for all advisors to insurance carriers and perform follow up calls with the carriers until confirmed complete

• Work closely and in lockstep with the FIG Sales Team to create a cohesive, evolving culture of one, to drive stability and growth with the financial professionals we work with

• Use creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to solve unique scenarios and problems

• Support FIG in a variety of other duties and responsibilities as required by your supervisor. Assist team members with workflow, department training and education of new team members on company systems, processes, and procedures.
