Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $24 –$25 / Hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (onsite)

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Training Assistant to support their internal training function. This individual will play a key role in coordinating employee trainings, managing logistics, and ensuring staff members complete required onboarding and compliance programs. This is a highly visible role that interacts with multiple departments and requires strong organization, communication, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary administrative contact for the training team
  • Coordinate onboarding training schedules and track completion for new hires
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure employees meet required training and recertification deadlines
  • Maintain and update training records within a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Schedule training sessions, reserve rooms, and prepare materials
  • Set up training spaces and assist with basic A/V needs during sessions
  • Support application processing and tracking for role-specific certifications
  • Communicate regularly with leadership, HR, and program teams to ensure alignment
  • Provide general administrative support to maintain efficient training operations

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative or coordination experience required
  • Experience supporting training programs, onboarding, or process coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms or large database systems is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for tracking/reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with various stakeholders, including leadership
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Reports to a direct and detail-oriented leader; confidence and professionalism are key
  • Team size: small, collaborative training team
  • Organization size: 800+ employees
  • Interview process: 1 onsite interview (potential follow-up)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Schedule: fully onsite, 5 days/week
  • Occasional weekend support may be required
