Role: Staff Accountant Reports to: Assistant Controller Location: West Palm Beach, FL Systems: QuickBooks Desktop & Concur
The Scope Are you ready to join a multi-billion dollar global sports and lifestyle brand? We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the team!
This isn't just "crunching numbers", you’ll be focused on our Entertainment entity, managing the financial pulse of some of our most exciting brand segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue & Licensing: Manage and track high-volume royalties and licensing revenues to ensure report accuracy.
- The Full Cycle: Handle the full cycle of A/P and A/R, including issuing invoices for specific business segments.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform meticulous daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across numerous accounts.
- Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules to ensure a smooth reporting cycle.
- Audit Readiness: Assist the Assistant Controller in preparing materials for annual audits.
- Systems Management: Maintain flawless records within QuickBooks Desktop and Concur.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Staff Accountant in a fast-paced environment (licensing or apparel experience is a huge plus!).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel is required. Experience with Concur is preferred.
Assignment Details
- Duration: Immediate start through end of July (with potential for permanent hire).

Responsibilities
- AP & Payments: You'll handle the day-to-day coding and recording of invoices. This includes processing both domestic and foreign payments and helping vendors or employees with any payment questions.
- Executive Reporting: You’ll put together weekly "Bills to be Paid" reports and keep the CEO/CFO updated on what needs to be prioritized for cash flow.
- Reconciliations: Daily bank recs are a big part of this. You’ll also do monthly reviews of corporate credit cards, employee expenses in Concur , and balance sheets.
- Compliance & Tax: You’ll help with the month-end close, lead the annual 1099 filing process, and get documentation ready for audits.
- Budgeting: You’ll help compile the financial data needed for budget tracking and looking at variances.
