About On The Map Marketing

On The Map Marketing is a Miami-based digital marketing agency that helps law firms and small businesses dominate search results. With hundreds of active SEO accounts, we run one of the highest-volume SEO operations in the legal marketing space. We need an SEO Manager who can lead strategy, drive quality, and scale our technical capabilities.

The Role

As SEO Manager, you'll oversee SEO strategy and execution across a large portfolio of accounts. You'll lead a team of SEO technicians, set quality standards for on-page and off-page work, and be the go-to expert for technical SEO challenges. You'll work closely with CSMs, content writers, and developers to ensure our clients see measurable ranking improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and oversee SEO strategies for 100+ client accounts across legal, medical, home services, and other verticals
  • Lead and mentor a team of SEO technicians — set standards for on-page optimization, technical audits, and link building
  • Conduct technical SEO audits: site architecture, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema markup, and indexation
  • Own local SEO strategy: Google Business Profile optimization, citation management, review generation, and local pack rankings
  • Analyze keyword data, search trends, and competitive landscapes using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console
  • Collaborate with content team to develop keyword-targeted content calendars and topical authority strategies
  • Build and refine scalable SEO processes and SOPs for the team
  • Report on SEO KPIs: organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and domain authority growth
  • Stay current on algorithm updates and adapt strategies proactively

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 1 year in a management or team lead role
  • Agency experience managing SEO for multiple clients simultaneously — high-volume preferred
  • Expert-level knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link building
  • Proficient with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of local SEO (GBP, citations, local pack)
  • Experience with WordPress and basic HTML/CSS
  • Excellent analytical skills — you make decisions based on data, not hunches
  • Strong communicator who can explain SEO concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders

Bonus Points

  • Experience in legal marketing or professional services SEO
  • Knowledge of programmatic SEO or AI-assisted content workflows
  • Familiarity with PPC and how paid/organic strategies complement each other
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
