As a Security Officer Site Associate in Winnsboro SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access control activities. This role offers the chance to deliver strong customer service communicate with professionalism and work with a team that is agile reliable and innovative while acting with integrity and putting people first.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document security-related activities according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify access permissions when required and report suspicious behavior maintenance concerns and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support site operations by providing clear directions assisting with visitor processing and communicating professionally with staff and guests during routine and elevated situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
