As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Manassas VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property rules helping to support authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Assist with routine reporting incident documentation and communication related to daily operations maintenance concerns and/or disturbances observed during patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
