NOTICE OF VACANCY 
School Secretary

Queensbury Union Free School District is recruiting for a
Secretary for CPSE and CSE, position at the middle school.

Full-time, 12- month, 40 hours/week. 
$18.33 – $19.08 based on experience, with benefits.

The position of School Secretary is now approved under the NY HELPS Program. This program temporarily waives civil service exam requirements. Applicants will be hired based on their qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications: 
A) Associate’s degree; or
B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years of full-time paid
clerical experience, or its part time equivalent, which must have included typing and use of personal computer and
common applications as a major function of the job; or
C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B). Substitution of experience
for education will be made on a year for year basis.
