POSITION OVERVIEW
Residential adjunct manager - Residential Treatment Facility - Albany, NY
Albany residential has an immediate need for a full-time Residential adjunct manager at our Residential Treatment Facility program . this job offer is responsible for supervising direct care staff as well as working as part of the direct care team who collectively provide everyday therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and regulation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
»Supervising program activity as related to client treatment plans
»Supervision and evaluation of direct care staff
»Working as part of staff-to-youth ratio and on-call system, mentoring and training staff
»Assisting in crisis intervention as needs
»Other administrative tasks related to running the unit
EDUCATION and/or practice REQUIREMENTS
»Requires an Associate's degree plus 3 years of practice, Bachelor's degree preferred, OR high school plus at least 5 years of practice
»Related practice with vulnerable populations/older adolescent population is required
»Must have managery practice or demonstrated capability to manage a residential unit
»Must have valid, clean driver's license
» capability to work variable shifts required including evenings, weekends and holidays ABOUT NORTHERN RIVERS
