Job Description

Title: Project Coordinator 
Location: Remote, US Only
Duration & Type: Initial 18-month Contract with Likely Extension or Conversion  
Compensation: Competitive hourly W2 rate ($37-39), Access to Healthcare & Dental Insurance Plan of Choice (details available upon request)

Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with a leading national retail and healthcare organization to identify a Project Coordinator who will support the successful planning, execution, and tracking of a multi-store rollout initiative. Working under the guidance of a Program or Project Manager, this individual will help implement updates across approximately 30 stores per week over the course of the 18-month engagement.

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Assist in coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables for a phased, multi-store rollout under the direction of a Project or Program Manager
  • Support implementation in batches of approximately 30 stores per week across an 18-month timeline
  • Serve as a responsive point of contact for store-level questions, ensuring proper documentation of issues as they arise
  • Gather, organize, and maintain project-related data, documentation, and reporting materials
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external project reports across multiple departments
  • Track project progress using project management tools and ensure updates are communicated effectively
  • Maintain centralized project files, documentation repositories, and version control practices
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by facilitating communication between stakeholders, store teams, and project leadership
  • Monitor project milestones and escalate risks or delays to leadership as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of project documentation and deliverables
What Qualifications You Need
  • 1–3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a related business/operations support role
  • Customer service mindset with a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, high-energy support in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within a matrix or cross-functional environment
  • Leadership presence within project functions, with the ability to guide stakeholders through structured processes
  • Foundational understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and workflows
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, SharePoint)
  • Exposure to formal project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) is a plus
  • Experience supporting cross-functional or multi-departmental projects
  • Familiarity with reporting dashboards or data tracking tools
  • Industry background is flexible; retail, remote retail, or project management experience is a plus
