About the Opportunity

A boutique oil and gas law firm with offices in Houston is seeking experienced Of Counsel Attorneys to join its growing team. The firm recently took on a major client resulting in a significant increase in workload. This is a tight-knit, collegial group of partners and a few senior associates/of counsel who value both hard work and camaraderie-think casual office culture, unlimited vacation time when work is light, and frequent team happy hours and crawfish boils.

What You'll Do

Handle a high volume of oil and gas title work and transactional matters.

Manage complex oil and gas transactions with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client service.

Collaborate with partners and associates in a fast-paced but supportive environment.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of oil & gas experience (title and transactional work preferred).

For 2-4 year associates , prior experience as a landman is required.

Ability to handle significant workload independently while contributing to a team culture.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to adapt to changing client demands.

Additional Details

In-office preferred but remote flexibility is available for attorneys outside Houston.

Flexible schedule : part-time or full-time depending on workload and attorney preference.

This position is offered on an of counsel basis (no employee benefits).
