What We Do/Project
Under general direction, analyzes Television scripts to ensure use of only fictional names/businesses and places; researches film rights, copyrights/trademarks and advises on legal requirements. Reviews contracts, negotiates releases, prepares correspondence; advises executives and production personnel on clearances and other issues. Performs other duties as required.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Review Television scripts and treatments to ensure that names, places, businesses, etc., are fictitious and confirms facts by checking information sources.
Review daily script revisions to verify required changes have been made and to check if any additions to the script require further clearances.
Obtain permission for products such as posters, artwork, logos, etc., by contacting rights holder. Check for copyright infringements.
Clears clips for playback as well as any talent appearing in the clip.
Provides administrative support in the following categories: recap guild payments and permissions, department accounts (Corbis/Getty/Fed Ex/etc.) and monthly billing reports.
Perform clerical duties such as typing, faxing, photocopying, and filing.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

1) College graduates preferred.
2) Fan of the Big Bang Theory and other WBD IP
3) Experience with reverse image searches.
Soft Skills:
1) Previous experience in a legal, or production environment.
2) Strong attention to detail oriented work.
3) Ability to work in deadline driven environment.
4) Strong customer service skills required.
5) Strong written and verbal communication necessary.
6) Knowledge of industry practices in the production of film/television.
7) Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with executives, creative personnel at all levels on legal-related issues, and outside representatives of agencies and corporations.
8) Must have professional demeanor and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality.
9) Must have the ability to pay close attention to details.
10) Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize assignments.
11) Must have excellent follow-through and ability to find and utilize all resources available.
12) Must be flexible and able to work hours subject to production needs.
Technology Requirements:
1) Microsoft Office 365 experience
Education / Certifications
1) High school diploma required.
