Full Time ~ Immediate Start
Steel Fabricator / Layout
Fall Fittings is seeking to full an immediate opening for a full-time fabricator/layout.
Responsibilities include:
»Interpret fabrication drawings for layout, fitting, assembly, and welding of structural assemblies.
»Measure and mark location and identification of holes, copes, hardware, and welds.
»Fit parts and assemblies to the appropriate location within specified tolerances
»Performing high quality welding using SMAW, FCAW, SAW, and other processes in conformity with specified weld symbols and procedures shown on documents.
»Perform oxy-fuel torch and saw cutting of parts for assembly.
»Assist others in the shop with loading and staging of materials.
»Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications required
»Welding practice
»Steel Layout/Fabrication practice
»Experence with stairs and railings a plus and preffered
»Valid NYS Drivers License
»Welding Certifications (Preferred)
