Position Details: Full-Time, Live-Out

Location: Lambertville, NJ

Days: Monday–Friday (Weekends required during the summer; occasional weekends throughout the year)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation: $35 to $45 per hour, Paid via W2 (on the books)

Additional Benefits: Some paid holidays, Sick days, Vacation after 6 months

Start Date: Immediately 

Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to oversee the care and maintenance of a large private residence in Lambertville, NJ. The ideal candidate will ensure the home is consistently cleaned, organized, and guest-ready at all times.

Responsibilities include comprehensive housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, seasonal deep cleaning, and maintaining high presentation standards throughout the home. Flexibility is required during the summer months when the family is in residence, as well as occasional weekends throughout the year.

The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, organized, and experienced in working within a formal household environment.

Main Work Duties: 

• Perform detailed daily cleaning and upkeep of all household areas, ensuring the home remains consistently organized, polished, and guest-ready
• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas to a high standard, including bed making and linen changes
• Provide full laundry and wardrobe care, including washing, folding, ironing, and proper handling of delicate and specialty garments
• Execute periodic deep cleaning projects and seasonal refreshes to maintain overall home quality
• Maintain organization of closets, storage areas, and household spaces, ensuring everything is neat and accessible
• Assist with kitchen upkeep, including clean-up after meals and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness and order
• Monitor and restock household supplies, ensuring the home is always well-prepared
• Run household errands such as grocery shopping, returns, and general household needs
• Assist with preparation for guests and family gatherings, ensuring the home is presentation-ready
• Work collaboratively with family members and any additional staff during busier periods, particularly in the summer months

Required Qualities: 

• Willingness to sign an NDA.
• Experience working in a formal home.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate during large family gatherings.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of housekeeping experience in a formal household.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
