RL Express Inc., a trusted local FedEx Ground contractor operating out of  Sparrows Point and Halethorpe, MD,  is now hiring  Full-Time and Weekend Delivery Drivers.

We’re seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals with a strong work ethic and  prior work-related driving experience  to handle local residential and business deliveries. Drivers must be flexible to operate out of  both terminals—Sparrows Point and Halethorpe—based on operational needs. No CDL is required.

We Are Looking For:

• ∙ Local Drivers, Route Drivers, and Delivery Drivers
• ∙ Prior experience with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, or similar delivery services
• ∙ Minimum  one year of commercial delivery driving experience  (required)

Requirements:

• ∙ At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• ∙ Ability to pass a drug test (including marijuana), with continued random testing throughout employment
• ∙ Ability to pass a DOT physical
• ∙ Ability to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs., and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck
• ∙ Ability to pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check
• ∙ Reliable transportation to and from work; punctual and ready to work each day
• ∙ Ability to work out of either the Sparrows Point or Halethorpe terminal, based on operational needs
• ∙ Ability to climb stairs and work in all types of weather
• ∙ Strong work ethic and a “get-it-done” attitude

Daily Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To):

• ∙ Operating the vehicle safely at all times
• ∙ Delivering and picking up packages at businesses and residences
• ∙ Completing routes that may include up to 150 stops per day
• ∙ Performing daily vehicle inspections, including fluid checks
• ∙ Loading and organizing the vehicle for daily deliveries
• ∙ Working independently and as part of a team
• ∙ Providing excellent customer service and maintaining communication with management
• ∙ Accurately operating scanners and tracking deliveries
• ∙ Ensuring accurate package delivery and pickup documentation
• ∙ Completing routes efficiently and on time
