Hiring for Electrical Mechanic / Electrician in Jackson Township, NJ paying up to $30 per hour

This role focuses on installing lighting systems in a large warehouse construction project in the Jackson–Brick–Toms River, NJ area. You will perform commercial electrical installations, work at moderate heights using scissor lifts, and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install lighting systems and related electrical components in a commercial warehouse environment in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Read, interpret, and apply electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute installations accurately.
• Install, route, and secure conduit and wiring to support lighting and other electrical systems.
• Operate scissor lifts safely at heights of approximately 14–19 feet to complete overhead electrical work.
• Apply strong working knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes to ensure all installations comply with regulatory requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification preferred.
• Experience working on large-scale warehouse or commercial construction projects.
• Mechanical aptitude for handling conduit, wiring, and related electrical installation materials.
• Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues on site.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other trades on the project.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lakewood, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lakewood,NJ.
